Course Details: CBSE Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)
Eligibility Criteria:
Classes I-V or Primary Stage
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks, and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks, and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, as per NCTE Regulations 2002 OR
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with 50% marks, and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with 50% marks, and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR
Graduation with 50% marks and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), provided the candidate undergoes a six-month NCTE-recognized Bridge Course in Elementary Education within two years of appointment as a primary teacher OR
Classes VI-VIII or Elementary Stage
Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 1-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in a 1-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) as per NCTE regulations OR
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education) OR
Candidates who have completed a B.Ed. program recognized by the NCTE are eligible for TET/CTET. Additionally, candidates enrolled in any NCTE/RCI-recognized teacher education course as per the NCTE Notification of 23rd August 2010 are also eligible for TET/CTET OR
