Brief Information: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has released the GATE 2025 Admit Card on January 2, 2025. Candidates appearing for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) can now download their admit cards from the official GATE 2025 website at gate2025.iitr.ac.in or through the direct link given below.

| Eligibility Criteria |
- Candidates must be in their third year or beyond of an undergraduate degree program or have completed a government-recognized degree in fields like Engineering, Technology, Science, Commerce, Arts, or Architecture to be eligible for the exam.

| Instructions for Students |
- Instructions for Photo: A recent, high-quality passport-sized color photo with a white background is required, ensuring the face occupies at least 75% of the image.
- Instructions for Thumb Impression: On an A4-sized sheet, draw a rectangular box measuring 3 cm x 5 cm and place your left thumb impression within the drawn box.
- Instructions for Signature: On an A4-sized paper, draw a rectangular box measuring 2 cm x 7 cm. Sign within the box using a black or blue pen in running handwriting.

The GATE exam is jointly conducted by IISc and seven IITs—Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, and Roorkee—on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB) – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.
Qualifying candidates can seek admission with potential financial assistance to Master’s and direct Doctoral programs in various fields. They can also apply for doctoral programs in relevant branches supported by the Ministry of Education and other government agencies. Some colleges also consider GATE scores for admission to postgraduate programs without MoE scholarships.

- Visit the official IIT GATE website at gate2025.iitr.ac.in or click the direct link provided below.
- On the homepage, click on the “GATE Admit Card 2025” link.
- Enter your login credentials on the new page.
- Submit the details to view your admit card.
- Download your admit card/hall ticket and print a hard copy for future reference.
