1. 10+2 with 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, OR
2. 10+2 with 45% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE Norms 2002, OR
3. 10+2 with 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) degree, OR
4. Bachelor’s degree (BA, B.Com, B.Sc) with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DELED/BTC)
5. HTET/STET Certificate
6. Hindi/Sanskrit as a subject at the Matric level
