SSC GD Syllabus & Exam Pattern 2024

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the GD Constable exam every year to recruit candidates for positions such as Constables (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA & SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles (AR). We have outlined the SSC GD Syllabus 2024 to assist candidates in their preparation.

The SSC GD Notification 2024 was released on November 24, 2023, with applications accepted until December 31, 2023. Candidates have sufficient time to prepare using the SSC GD Syllabus 2024 and exam pattern.

The SSC GD Constable Tier 1 exam will be conducted online in an MCQ format. The Computer Based Examination (CBT) consists of 4 sections with a total of 80 questions to be completed in 60 minutes. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. The exam is available in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages: Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
